Coastguards in East Sussex are renewing warnings about highly dangerous cracks that have appeared at the top of the chalk cliffs near the Belle Tout lighthouse.
They added that the cliff tops are currently being "supported by thin air".
Images show the danger is a few hundred yards east of the lighthouse, very near the Beachy Head Road.
Officials described the damage, thought to be caused by natural weathering, as a "huge crack" in the cliff face.
They added that all the cliffs nearby are "massively unstable", whether or not a crack is visible from the surface.
According to coastguards, the cracks seen in their images are "ready to collapse", from their positions above missing sections that can't be seen from the top.
In public warnings, they emphasised earlier warnings to stay as far away from cliff edges as possible, whether at the top or underneath the cliffs themselves.
The emergency telephone number for H.M.Coastguard is 999.
