Drivers are being asked to avoid an area of the A27 after a lorry overturned earlier today (Thursday 4).
The lorry driver was assisted by members of the public before he was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.
It's after emergency services were called to reports of the overturned HGV on the slip road coming off the A27 westbound carriageway on the Shoreham bypass, at around 2.30pm.
At 4pm, the slip road remained closed, but the main A27 remained open.
Sussex Police requested that drivers to avoid the area where possible as delays are likely.
