The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have paid tribute to Prince Philip with a short statement on the website of their Archewell organisation.
"In loving memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, 1921-2021," the message reads.
"Thank you for your service... you will be greatly missed."
The Duke of Edinburgh's death comes just a month after Prince Harry and Meghan's revelations about their time as working royals were revealed in their explosive TV interview with Oprah Winfrey.
If the couple do attend the funeral, it will be the first time they have come face-to-face with Prince William and Prince Charles since then.
