Two people have been rescued from mud in Lower Beach Road in Shoreham yesterday (May 23).
West Sussex Fire & Rescue, Sussex Police and the Shoreham Coastguard were in attendance.
A spokesperson said:
"At 10.30am yesterday morning we responded to an incident where two people were rescued from mud at Lower Beach Road in Shoreham.
"Our wade teams were in the area carrying out a training exercise and safely rescued the two casualties using a ladder and GP lines.
"No injuries were reported and fire crews left the scene at 11.30am."
