Firefighters worked with SECAmb yesterday (Sunday 22) to remove a patient from a tenth floor flat in Hove.
At least three engines were attending a block of flats in Kingsway Court, on the seafront between First and Second Avenue, at around 2.45pm.
The aerial ladder was used to reach the tenth floor (the top of the building).
Firefighters wearing full PPE suits were seen on the top floor of the building going in and out of one of the flats.
A patient was seen to be removed on a wheeled stretcher from the flats.
The incident was brought to a close by around 4pm.

A spokesperson from SECAmb said:
"We don’t comment on the detail of any call to a private address due to patient confidentiality.
"We do of course thank our police and fire colleagues for their assistance at this incident which highlights the importance of our close working relationship.
"For guidance, in terms of our crews wearing PPE – they wear PPE on every incident currently."
