Five people have been arrested after the sudden death of a man in Bexhill on Wednesday (24).
Officers said they were called to the body of a 22-year-old man inside a property in Sea Road, at around 9.37am.
Officers believe the victim was involved in an altercation at an address in Western Road, Bexhill, on Wednesday (24) morning and detectives are seeking to determine if this incident contributed to the man's death.
Four men aged 30, 36, 41 and 48 and a 33-year-old woman have been arrested.
They remained in police custody on Thursday (25) afternoon.
According to police, the cause of death remains under investigation and is being treated as an isolated incident.
