A girl has suffered scratches and a puncture wound to her leg after an incident in Hastings last month (July).
Police said it allegedly happened on the grassed area behind Summerfields Leisure Centre in Bohemia Road at around 7.35pm on the evening of July 18th.
The seven-year-old victim reportedly sustained the injuries after a spaniel jumped up at her back.
According to officers, the owners of the dog are thought to have left the scene in a vehicle parked in the leisure centre car park.
