There's been a gunpoint robbery at a shop in Worthing.
Officers were called to Worthing News in Rowlands Road at 6.10pm this evening (Thursday 3 December) following a report that staff had been threatened by two men with a firearm.
Four bottles of vodka and around £400 cash was reportedly taken from the till.
One victim was assaulted and suffered a minor injury that did not require hospital treatment.
Police described the first suspect as a white man, bald, in his mid-30s, with blue eyes and wearing a black hoodie and a black backpack.
The second suspect is a tall man with dark brown eyes, wearing a face mask and also wearing all black.
Detective Inspector Pauline Lane said:
"We are quickly pursuing lines of enquiry to identify and trace these two suspects and are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or who has information that may assist us.
"We would also urge anyone who was in the area around the time of this incident and has CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage to get in touch straightaway.
