A motorcylist has been taken to hospital with multiple bone fractures after he was injured in a hit-and-run in Sussex last night (Thursday March 18).
According to Sussex Police, the rider of a red Honda CBF 125 from Brighton was travelling west on the A259 at 6.48pm when the collision occurred.
The 29-year-old was clipped by what officers called an "unknown vehicle", causing him to lose control of his bike.
On falling, he sustained fractures to his hand, arm and collarbone.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle failed to stop at the scene, and remains unidentified.
A police investigation has begun, with witness accounts welcomed either online or by telephone to 101, quoting serial 1304 of 18/03.
