On Air Now The Kim Wilde 80s Show 2:00pm - 6:00pm Snoop Dogg / Charlie Wilson / Justin Timberlake - Signs Schedule

It's The World's Largest Free Festival - In Hove

The new show will be performed on stage in the open air at a Hove park

A show will be performed in the grounds of St Ann's Well Gardens in Hove this September - with strict social distancing measures in place.

Jonathan Brown, Artistic Director of Something Underground, will play 65 characters "in quick succession" in his new show The Spirit of Woodstock.

The show was scheduled to open at this year's Brighton Fringe Festival in May, however, the festival was cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The show promises to transport its audience back to the "golden" era of Woodstock and "the politics, the conflicts, the music, the protests, the moon landings, the civil rights movement, the adverts, the Anti-war protesters, the women's liberators, the music, the musicians and the personalities" that surrounded it.

With "distancing bubbles" promised and the lure of a cosy September picnic with blankets and wine, the show is scheduled for September 17-20 and 24-27 (evenings and matinees at weekends).
