M23 Closed Near Crawley Following HGV Collision

The M23 is closed between junction 8 to junction 10 this morning, in both directions, following a collision involving a Heavy Goods Vehicle.

The closure affects junction 8 (M25) to junction 9 (Gatwick) and junction 10 (Crawley) to junction 8 (M25).

Sussex Police expects the closure to be in place for most of the day to allow for the cleaning of a significant diesel spill.
