A 26-year-old man has been arrested after a cyclist was hit by a ball bearing in St Leonards and taken to hospital.
According to police, a 65-year-old man was cycling along Bexhill Road, at around 6.20pm on Friday (10), when he was hit near to the junction with Harley Shute Road.
He suffered a head injury and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he remained in a serious but stable condition on Sunday.
On Saturday (11), a 37-year-old man was reported being hit with a pellet from a BB gun, fired by a man in a passing vehicle in Mount Pleasant Road, Hastings, at around 12.30pm.
The suspect, from St Leonards, remained in custody on Sunday morning.
