A man has been arrested after a reported stabbing in Crawley yesterday (Thursday 20).
Police said it's after they were called to reports of an altercation involving two men in Berrymeade Walk, just before 6pm.
The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered multiple serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 59-year-old man from Crawley was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
He remained in custody on Friday afternoon.
The victim and suspect are known to each other and police are not looking for anyone else in connection to the assault.
