Police have arrested an 18-year-old man at a hotel in High Street, Arundel, on suspicion of grooming an underage girl.
Police say they arrived at the hotel at around 5pm on Saturday (August 19) with concern for the girl's welfare.
The victim was found safe and the suspect was taken into custody and held over the weekend, on suspicion of meeting a girl under 16-years of age.
Officers say they're continuing to investigate the circumstances and the victim is being supported by specialist officers.
