Man Arrested In Connection With Worthing Rape

A man has been arrested in connection with a rape that happened in Worthing last Sunday, September 5th.

A 19-year-old woman said the attack happened sometime between midnight and 3am at the Guildbourne Centre car park in Chatsworth Road.

The victim and the suspect are thought to have been at the Jungle nightclub on Chatsworth Road that night.

Following a public appeal, a 24-year-old man from Worthing was arrested and has been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
