Man Assaulted In Haywards Heath Bar

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a bar in Haywards Heath.

Police were called to Savannah Cafe Bar at around 1am on Sunday (Oct 31).

They said an argument had resulted in a man suffering a serious injury that needed hospital treatment.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.

Anyone in the area who may have witnessed what happened, or anyone with information about the incident is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting serial 1166 of 01/11.
