A man has been charged with manslaughter following the death of a man at Butlin's in Bognor last year. On June 14, police were called to the holiday park after a report of an assault. On arrival, the victim, Michael Loughlin, from Barton-le-Clay in Bedford, was found with a punch to the head. The 52-year-old later died of his injuries at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. Police said the man charged is Billy Mongey, 32, of Tooting Grove in Wandsworth. He is due to appear before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Thursday this week (May, 14).
