The search is reportedly continuing this morning (May 13) for a meals-on-wheels van that was stolen in Sussex yesterday (May 12) while its driver was making a delivery.
According to the Hailsham company behind the service, Mother Theresa's Meals, the Transit was last seen heading north at Wych Cross on the A22 around 2.30pm.
It was taken from Uckfield around half-an-hour earlier.
The company said its vans carried no valuables or money: only food, with the vans converted to include specially-constructed ovens to keep it warm during deliveries.
Police were joining the search yesterday for the white liveried vehicle, registration MT10 YUM.
