A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision in Runcton, south of Chichester, this morning.
Emergency services went to the B2166 Lagness Road at Runcton near Chichester at 6.40am today (Friday 19 March) after a motorcyclist and a car collided.
The 29-year-old man riding the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken by road ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The car driver was unhurt.
Police closed the B2166 as an investigation began, and officers said it was likely to remain closed for much of the morning with diversions in place.
