A podcast that provides health news and information to people in Sussex has just passed a significant milestone.
The NHS Sussex News podcast has achieved over ten-thousand unique listens and continues to grow.
It launched on July 1st when NHS Sussex came into being and is available on all major podcast platforms: Spotify, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts and Deezer.
The latest edition of the podcast can also be heard via Alexa smart-speakers and on the news page of the Sussex Health and Care website.
Recent episodes of the podcast include an interview with NHS Sussex Chair Stephen Lightfoot about the aims of NHS Sussex, a celebration of Black History Month in Brighton & Hove from a health perspective and a chat with an East Sussex GP about what people can do to help reduce pressures on the NHS this winter.
To find the NHS Sussex News podcast on your usual podcast platform, search for NHS Sussex News and then freely subscribe so you never miss an update. To listen to the latest update on an Alexa smart-speaker, simply say “Alexa, enable NHS Sussex News” and from then on “Alexa, play NHS Sussex News”.
The latest update can also be heard on the Sussex Health and Care website located at sussex.ics.nhs.uk. Click on the News section then select NHS Sussex News.
