Police have issued a fine after breaking up a group protesting in Brighton on Saturday (February 27).
Officers came across the gathering in Lower Kings Road and engaged with the group to inform them they were in breach of Covid regulations.
The gathering dispersed.
The group were reportedly protesting against a change in funding for support for victims of domestic abuse in the city.
The organiser of the event was identified and later given a fine for breach of Covid rules based on the evidence available to officers at the time.
