A group of travellers who originally set up camp at Goring Greensward open space, have now moved on to a field in Angmering.
Police, alongside West Sussex County Council, had asked the travellers to vacate the land in Goring after they set up camp illegally on July 6th.
The travellers moved on, on July 12th.
It appears the group, which consists of over 30 motor homes and caravans, has now settled around the circumference of Woodland Park off Station Road on the A259 in Angmering.
The field has two sets of goal posts on it, which suggests that it is probably in use by local football teams.
A police spokesperson said:
"We are closely monitoring the situation in consultation with the local authorities to help ensure local community safety and to establish what next steps should be taken."
