Two people have been charged in connection with county lines drug-dealing after appearing in court today (Friday 29).
Edward Birigwa, 29, a labourer, and Kessia Davies, 21, a retail employee, both of Golders Way, London NW11, appeared in custody at Crawley Magistrates Court, both charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.
They were remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on 27 February.
The charges related to an investigation over several months by detectives from Brighton and the Metropolitan Police.
It's part of Operation Orochi, which combats drug dealing from the capital into surrounding areas.
The couple were arrested in North London on Wednesday (January 27) after suspected drugs were seized for analysis together cash and other items.
