Part Of A27 Closed Overnight Due to Fatal Collision

A driver has reportedly died following a collision on the A27 just east of the A29 junction past Fontwell.

A witness at the scene reported that the collision involved a Porsche and a stationary police car and that the driver of the Porsche had died at the scene.

Sussex Police Tweeted at 11.44pm (Jan 16) to inform drivers that the road would be close for a 'significant length of time'.

The A27 is closed in both directions between the Fontwell East roundabout and Arundel following a serious collision.

It’s likely the road is going to be closed for significant length of time and not known when it will reopen.
