A further cliff fall has taken place onto a beach below Telscombe cliffs, between Saltdean and Peacehaven.
It has happened not long after specialists were seen carrying out safety work on cliffs between Saltdean and Brighton Marina.
Work on the cliffs started earlier this month following the closure of the undercliff walk in January for health and safety concerns.
Chalk from the cliff had been falling intermittently due to bad weather.
It happens when water, which lodges in cracks in the cliff when they're lashed by wind and rain, freezes and expands, eventually dislodging the rock.
