An eyewitness has reported seeing eight fire engines in attendance at a fire in Chidham, Chichester late last night (Sunday, March 26).

"Last night (26 March) at 9.32pm we responded to a fire at Priors Leaze Lane, Chidham.
"Joint Fire Control sent eight fire engines, a water carrier and command support unit to the scene.
"Upon arrival firefighters found a fire involving a large park home and containers.
"Crews evacuated the area and quickly got to work to extinguish the fire using breathing apparatus, high pressure hose reels, jets and thermal imaging cameras.
"Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters stayed at the scene damping down hotspots until 3.30am.
"There were no casualties and two dogs were reunited with their owners.
"Crews will be returning to the scene this morning to give community fire safety advice to residents in the area."
