UPDATE: PHOTOS: Overnight Search For Missing 12-Year-Old Shoreham Boy

A multi-agency search has been carried out overnight for a 12-year-old boy missing from Shoreham.

Richard Phorrington, 12, from Shoreham was last seen leaving his home address at 7.30pm on Monday (January 16) but has not been seen since.

Richard is described as being slim, around 5’3” tall and was wearing a long black jacket with a hood, dark jeans, black socks and wasn’t wearing any shoes.

It is likely Richard is carrying a torch.

An eye witness reported at least 50 people searching, including Shoreham RNLI, two coastguard teams from Shoreham and Littlehampton, police helicopter and lowland search teams.

UPDATE:

Richard has now been found safe.
