Police And Five Fire Crews Attend Horsham Fire

Police and fire crews have been attending a large fire at a flat and outbuilding at Mill Lane, Partridge Green this morning (Jan 2).

West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service tweeted this morning at around 7.30am to ask people to avoid the area:

⚠️ We are currently dealing with a fire involving a flat and outbuilding at Mill Lane, Partridge Green.

Crews from @p_green_stn55, @HenfieldFire, @Horshamfire, @52Steyning and @station_62 are at the scene.

Please avoid the area and if nearby, keep doors and windows shut. ⚠️

They tweeted again at 9am to say the incident had been scaled down and crews were damping down hot spots.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will begin.
