Police are investigating following reports of several bins being set on fire in Hove Park on Saturday night.
It happened just before 9pm on Saturday, May 22nd.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue attended the incident, reporting that there was a risk to buildings within the park catching alight, had they not been extinguished.
Officers are treating the incident as deliberate and asking for anyone who saw the fires being started or anyone suspicious in the area to please come forward.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured any relevant dash cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage from the area.
