A 12-year-old boy remains in hospital after falling ill early on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to Byrd Road in Crawley shortly before 12.30am on October 9th.
Police are now making enquiries to establish the circumstances under which the boy fell ill to determine whether an offence was committed.
The boy remains in a stable condition and is awaiting test results.
