A cyclist in his 60s needed to be flown to hospital after being seriously injured in a collision on a country lane west of Hailsham.
At 1.07pm on Saturday (March 20), Sussex Police officers attended Arlington Road West at the junction with Caneheath following a collision involving a van and a pedal cycle.
The rider suffered multiple serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The driver of the van was uninjured and the road remained closed until 6.30pm.
