Crews from four areas of West Sussex attended a domestic fire in Steyning last night while the public were asked to avoid the area.
The call came in at 8.49pm that fire crews were needed on Coombe Road in Steyning.
Two water pumps were used from Worthing, one from Steyning and one from Shoreham with the Incident Command Unit from Haywards Heath also attending.
UK Power Networks also attended the scene making it safe for crews to work on the fire. It meant neighbouring houses were also without power for some time.
No one was injured.
