A giant mural on the surface of Portland Road in Worthing says "We're Back In The Game".
That's according to a group of businesses in the town who say they're working with Worthing Borough Council's "Time For Worthing" project and West Sussex County Council.
Part of the project to draw attention to the town's return to trading is what they've called the "UK's largest road mural", created by the street artist known as "Horace".
According to project spokesman Andy Sparsis, Horace has worked anonymously and under cover of darkness to create an art work measuring 50 metres by 10 metres.
He claimed the publicity, created by art and activism, also had the purpose of safeguarding jobs.
Andy said:
"The street art is a pop-up, fingers-up provocational project to the pandemic.
"We are fighting back and we will prosper."
