Lewes District Council is running a survey to find out what local people, traders, businesses and visitors think about Lewes Farmers Market.
The market takes place on the first and third Saturdays of the month at Friars Walk car park from 9am to 1pm.
The market started 25 years ago, at a time when there was only one other farmers market in England and is run by a local community interest group, Common Cause.
Its principles are around local producers, environmental protection, high animal welfare standards, and minimum food miles and packaging.
The survey is open to all and takes about five minutes to complete.
We are interested to know how people travel to the market, whether they do other things in Lewes on Farmers Market days, and thoughts on the current location and timings.
We are also interested to know whether respondents are more or less likely to visit Lewes town centre on market days.
To find out more and complete the survey visit:
The survey will stay open until 5pm on Friday 13 December 2024.
