A 15-year-old has allegedly been assaulted in Worthing by two other people - who police haven't found yet.
Officers were called to The Strand yesterday (Tuesday) just before 5.30pm.
According to police, the victim had suffered a minor hand injury.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said:
'Police received a third-party report of a 15-year-old boy being assaulted by two other young people shortly before 5.30pm on Monday (March 15) on The Strand, Worthing.
'Officers attended the scene and identified the victim, who had a minor hand injury.
'An extensive search of the area was carried out but with no trace of the suspects.'
Enquiries are now ongoing and anyone who saw what happened, or who may have any other information, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1101 of 15/03.
