Teenage motorcyclist seriously injured following collision with food delivery van

A teenager is in hospital with serious arm and leg injuries following a collision between a food delivery van and a motorcycle in Lancing. Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of Crabtree Lane and West Lane last night (Wednesday, 2) just after 9.10pm. Police said the motorcyclist, a 17-year-old local boy, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The 29-year-old van driver was unhurt, according to police. Anyone who saw what happened or who may have dash-cam footage of the incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1257 of 02/10.
