Three people - including a fifteen-year-old boy - were arrested by police after an elderly woman was robbed of £300 as she withdrew the money from an ATM in Hastings.
Police said they were called shortly after 12 midnight on Tuesday (June 23) to a report of a 75-year-old woman being robbed.
A 22-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery at a property in St Leonards and remain in custody for questioning.
Detective Sergeant Paul Elrick said:
"This was an awful attack on a lone elderly woman who has been left shaken but thankfully unharmed. We are keen to establish what happened and are appealing to anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious in the London Road area around the time of this incident to get in touch with us."
