Two men and a woman have appeared in court after a £12,000 watch was reportedly stolen from a store in Brighton on Wednesday (7).
Police said they were called to Watches and Coins in Oxford Street, at around 2.15pm.
Three people were reported to have made off in a black vehicle after taking the watch.
Officers tracked down the suspects to a vehicle on the A23, arrested the occupants, and recovered the watch.
Florentin Niculae, 45, of no fixed address, George Paun, 28, of no fixed address, and Stela Sava, 23, of Boundary Road in London, were charged with robbery.
Theywere remanded in custody to appear in court on Thursday (8).
