A total of four people have been arrested in connection with an attack in Brighton's Rock Place where a gun was reportedly fired.
Investigations began when police attended the scene of an assault involving three people, where a weapon was believed to have been discharged, at about 11.50am on Monday, 19 October,
Officers said no-one was injured, and two suspects — a man and a woman — were not found.
But at about 3pm yesterday, (October 28), police investigating the attack made four arrests as they attended a property in Golden Lane.
A 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and remained in custody this afternoon (29 October) for questioning.
A 24-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been bailed while enquiries are ongoing.
While carrying out the warrant, officers seized a significant quantity of cannabis.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of a Class B drug and assisting an offender and has been bailed.
