Witness Appeal Following Incident Outside Uckfield Tesco

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and woman were threatened outside a Tesco in Bell Lane, Uckfield.

The verbal altercation happened at around 2.30pm on Thursday, January 20th.

A woman called police saying she and the man she was with had been threatened by another man

PC Jack Balkham said:

“I would ask anyone who has witnessed the incident or has any footage of it to come forward to assist our investigation."

Josh McIvor, 24, of Nightingales, East Hoathly has been charged with committing criminal damage, a public order offence, possession of a firearm and possession of cannabis.

Anyone who saw what happened or has information which could help our investigation is asked to report it online or call police on 101 quoting serial number 666 of 20/01.
