A woman has undergone surgery after a reported dog attack in Angmering last Monday (March, 2). Police said the 65-year-old woman was walking her dog in the Carina Avenue and Foxwood Avenue area at around 4pm when she was approached by another dog which was off it's lead. The animal, described as large boxer, reportedly knocked her over while attacking her pet. The victim sustained serious injuries to her elbow which required surgery, and lead to an extended stay in hospital, according to officers. PC Matt Fisher said: "We need to trace the owner of the boxer type dog who has caused serious injuries to the 65-year-old victim. "We would like to hear from anyone who knows who the owner maybe or who witnessed the incident." Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting serial 1447 of 10/03.
