The body of a woman was pulled from the sea in Littlehampton on Tuesday (December, 10). The HM Coastguard raised an alarm at around 8.14am when a body was spotted in the water off the Coastal Road in East Preston. Officers said they were satisfied that they knew the identity of the local woman, in her 60s. Her next-of-kin were notified. Police said the death was treated as unexplained and they don't believe it to be suspicious.
