Staff at Two Faced Twins Art Gallery in Marine Parade on Worthing seafront, have described feeling traumatised after a five-man gang robbed the gallery in front of them.
A post on Facebook on Sunday (July 17) described how the group of men entered the gallery on Saturday and started taking large pieces of artwork off the walls, stealing "whatever they could get their hands on".
The owners, twins Stella and Gem, said staff in the gallery were shouting at the thieves but they just "carried on taking things and and running away".
"This was an awful, traumatic thing to happen."
They believe the burglary was preplanned and organised and is asking the public to keep an eye out for the artwork being carried around or sold.
They posted pictures of the artwork that was stolen (see below).
The post on Facebook added that they had kept the gallery closed on Sunday due to what had happened.
